Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-Station Salug, led by its newly installed Sub-Station Commander LTJG Mark Anthony A. Siason, together with PCG Sub-Station Sindangan, led by newly installed Sub-Station Commander LTJG John Frederick Budao, paid a courtesy call to Hon. Roberto L. Uy Jr., Municipal Mayor of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte.
This courtesy visit highlights the growing collaboration between the Philippine Coast Guard and the Local Government Unit of Liloy in strengthening maritime safety and efficient public service delivery. Under the leadership of Mayor Roberto Lim Uy Jr., the LGU remains committed to advancing multi-sectoral coordination, recognizing that the safety, welfare, and progress of the community require active partnership across all sectors.
As Liloy continues to gain recognition for its natural attractions, particularly its growing number of tourist visitors to local beaches and coastal areas, the role of maritime safety becomes even more vital. The influx of tourists underscores the need for enhanced patrol, emergency preparedness, environmental protection, and responsible tourism practices. Through strengthened ties with the PCG, the LGU aims to ensure that Liloy remains a safe, welcoming, and sustainable destination for both residents and visitors.
Together, we safeguard our shores, protect our people, and welcome growth through unity and service. #enjoyLILOY
