The Local Government Unit of Liloy was awarded a Plaque of Recognition by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) and the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) for its active participation during the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2025 held in Dipolog City, June 19, 2025.

The award was formally presented by USEC Ariel F. Nepomuceno, Executive Director of NDRRMC and Administrator of OCD, together with Governor-elect Darel Dexter T. Uy, City Mayor of Dipolog, and Atty. Ruel S. Halanes, the newly appointed Regional Director of OCD Region IX, along with other key officials, during the Mayor’s Night and NSED Awarding Ceremony.

This recognition is a testament to the unwavering commitment and strong leadership of Mayor Roberto Lim Uy Jr. in advancing disaster preparedness and emergency response—not only within Liloy, but also in extending support to other communities in need.
