From coastal clean-ups to mangrove planting, trainings to community drills — this July is about turning preparedness into action.

Under the visionary leadership of Mayor Roberto L. Uy, Jr. we showcased what Liloy is to the community and to our neighboring municipalities and provinces- a municipality that is proactive in terms of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, a municipality that strives for advancement to be able to deliver the best possible services not only for Liloy but to other municipalities as well.

The occassion was graced by the Office of the Civil Defense Region IX Director Atty. Ruel Halanes, DRRM Vice Chairpersons of Four Thematic Areas, DOST, AFP, Local Disaster Risk Reduction Management Officers from across the region, Barangay Captains and the governor of the Province of Zamboanga del Norte Hon. Darrel Dexter Uy.
