Earlier today, Undersecretary Harold N. Cabreras, together with officials from the Office of Civil Defense (OCD), arrived in the Municipality of Liloy in connection with the ongoing National Rescue Olympics.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Municipal Mayor Roberto Lim Uy Jr., together with , 3rd District Board Member Hon. Venus Uy, at the newly constructed Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (LDRRMO) Building.
The National Rescue Olympics is a nationwide event that gathers rescue teams from across the country to demonstrate their skills, enhance operational readiness, and strengthen collaboration in disaster response. The Municipality of Liloy was selected by the Office of Civil Defense as one of the official host venues for this prestigious activity, underscoring the municipality’s growing capacity and unwavering commitment to disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community resilience.
